Dace Tjurina has obtained the degree of a doctor from Rīga Stradiņš University and specialises in epileptology. The doctor has attended different congresses, work seminars and upskilling courses: courses of electroencephalography at the Children’s Clinical University Hospital, courses on the biofeedback method and cognitively induced potentials at St. Petersburg Bekhterev Psychoneurological Research Institute in Russia, etc. Dace Tjurina has obtained the experience of a neurologist and electroencephalography method specialist during her work at Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital, where she is still practising, as well as during her work at other clinics. “The work of a physician involves constant development – raising of qualification and improvement of communication within the team, as well as between the patient and their family.”
