- Psychiatry attracts me because the human mind has enormous capacities and possibilities. I believe that a person should be viewed as a whole - holistically, because the mind cannot be separated from the body. I wanted to become a doctor since I was 9 years old, but I chose psychiatry when I realized that I was interested in what happens to a person's inner world after various physical or emotional experiences. I believe that anyone can be helped, as long as the person is ready to accept help.
